Gurunath Akhada

Gurunath Akhada was established in the year 2004 with an initial membership of 7,000 sadhus, aiming to unite various groups that had become divided due to their differing beliefs and practices. The founder, Sewak Sanjynath, who was initially part of Juna Akhada, envisioned Gurunath Akhada as a single, inclusive platform where all saints could come regardless of their individual sects.

In recognition of his leadership and dedication, he was elected as Maha Mandaleshwar in 2005 and subsequently honored with the title of Jagatguru Vamacharya in 2006, wherein he now leads a community of over 16,000 saints.

The primary purpose of Gurunath Akhada is to uplift sadhus and promote the teachings of Hinduism on a global scale.
